May 21, 2022 – The Zagreb Tourism Culture Project continues to involve the capital’s youth in the systematic education of high school students.

Like Poslovny Dnevnik In writing, the Zagreb City Tourist Board (TZGZ), in cooperation with the Municipal Office of Education, Sports and Youth, is again implementing the Zagreb Tourism Culture Project. This is a project where the systematic education of high school students, for whom tourism and the hotel industry are not raw materials, aims to make them aware of their own city and to make young people discover the tourist, cultural and natural from Zagreb.

This year, six schools participated in the Zagreb Culture of Tourism project, and the final presentation of the project will take place on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zagreb Dance Center at Ilica 10.

“We are very proud of all the students who study the tourist side of the city within the framework of this project and consider the possibilities of evaluating the existing tourist offer, as well as the development of a new one. In this way, the Students have the opportunity to experience their city from a slightly different point of view and give their own views and ideas about the city of Zagreb as a tourist destination.

The Zagreb Culture of Tourism project aims to involve young people in programs for the preservation of ethnological, historical and cultural heritage, environmental protection, raising the level of hospitality and creating a welcoming climate, which should mark Zagreb’s tourism and, in general, Zagreb’s development,” said Martina Bienenfeld, director of the Zagreb Tourist Board.

It should be noted that the Zagreb Tourism Culture Project is a project launched by the Tourist Board in the academic year 2010/2011. Every year, during a semester-long extracurricular activity, students from selected high schools in Zagreb have the task, in agreement with project leaders, of designing and implementing projects on the topic of tourism, qu ‘they then present publicly.
