TUI UK announces return to Croatia from May with 15 routes
ZAGREB, February 16 (Hina) – British tour operator TUI UK announced its return to Croatia with 15 air routes from Britain to three Croatian coastal airports over the summer, the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) said on Tuesday, citing the Croatian Aviation portal.
According to the portal, TUI will restore five direct flights per week from five UK cities to Pula from May to October, eight flights from eight cities to Dubrovnik and two flights from two cities to Split.
Croatian Aviation said TUI may postpone the start of transport depending on the epidemiological situation and possible restrictions. He added, however, that TUI’s return was good news for all tourism stakeholders, especially those geared towards UK customers.
Responding to a question from Hina, the HTZ said TUI UK’s announcement was good news for Croatian tourism, especially given that in 2020 it had not offered any arrangements for a vacation in Croatia, and that this would result in more British tourists vacationing in Croatia than last year.
