The ceremony took place at Mašković Han, a category zero monument, which is also the westernmost building of Islamic architecture in Europe. The native medieval experience with a touch of the Orient provided by the authenticity, mysticism and beauty of Mašković Han served as the main motive in creating the ceremony itself.
Historical tradition intertwined with modern elements emanated from every corner of this space, giving the evening a unique expression, the layout of which was designed and arranged by Boris Ruzic.

Since high gastronomy contributes to an unforgettable destination experience, the importance of the Michelin award is also recognized by the Croatian Tourist Board (CNTB), one of the partners of the event.
“I congratulate all the restaurants that have kept their stars, their owners, their chefs and their hard-working teams. Since this year, Croatia has 84 restaurants bearing one of the prestigious MICHELIN labels, ie 6 more than last year. The selected restaurants have entered the exclusive circle of the best restaurants in the world and the Croatian Tourist Board, as a national partner of MICHELIN, is extremely proud of you. The MICHELIN labels offer excellent promotional potential that I believe destinations will be able to capitalize on from this tourism year and use them more in the future. We are entering the peak of the tourist season, and we have a part of the year ahead of us where, on average, more than a million guests stay in Croatian destinations per day, so display your plaques, stars and your marks with pride,” said the director of the Croatian Tourist Board, Kristjan Staničićstressing that the CNTB will continue to carry out numerous activities with the aim of positioning Croatia as a tourist destination with a rich and varied gastronomic offer.
