Project of the week: Four Seasons Resort Hvar, Croatia
Distinguished by its exceptional amenities, setting and design, this Four Seasons-branded resort is the latest winner of our Project of the Week title.
A luxury hotel and residential development destined for the Croatian island of Hvar, Four Seasons’ latest outpost promises to be rather special.
An island of choice
In 2016, Arqaam Capital entered into an agreement with Four Seasons to manage and operate its mixed-use luxury resort project in Hvar. It aims to transform a seaside site at Brizenica Bay, a secluded cove with spectacular sea views on this island off the Dalmatian coast.
The goal is for this site to eventually house a Four Seasons hotel with 148 rooms and a luxury residential community, including 60 Four Seasons private residences. These residences would range in size from one-bedroom units to five-bedroom villas.
Luxury amenities and inspiring design
In terms of amenities, the resort will have multiple pools, private infinity pools, and a state-of-the-art spa and fitness center. It will also host a number of restaurants, cafes and bars, retail shops, and conference and banquet spaces.
Gensler is behind the chic architectural design of the oceanfront resort and Richmond Design has been tasked with managing the interiors.
The target completion date for this five-star development has yet to be confirmed.
