Plitvice Holiday Resort presents the first mobile wellness center in Croatia
September 4, 2021 – A new wellness center is located in the unique atmosphere of Plitvice Holiday Resort and is the first mobile wellness center in Croatia!
This is great new content for the Resort, which delighted visitors with the concept of treehouse glamping a few years ago. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to book accommodation in these treehouses, due to the excellent occupancy.
The wellness center is designed around nature and the 4 elements – earth, air, water and fire, and offers a handful of facilities for guests. The wellness area has a Finnish sauna with a nature view, an infrared sauna with a salt wall (salt room), a unique experience shower, a relaxation area, a covered and heated outdoor terrace, a hydromassage pool and a cacoon lounge chair.

The wellness area is rented for a minimum of two hours by prior reservation at reception as a complete unit to ensure total privacy for guests.
Conceptually, the first mobile wellness center in the Republic of Croatia is designed to provide guests with complete privacy, peace, relaxation and enjoyment in the immediate natural environment and is additional content in winter and before and after the season. Produced in collaboration with Spa2o design doo from Zagreb (construction and equipment) and Abstracto studio doo from Zagreb (architecture and interior design), it is primarily intended for resort guests as additional content and offers. , there is the possibility of renting to external customers, “said Damir Stanišić, manager of Plitvice Holiday Resort and added that after use the wellness center takes a break of one hour to clean, disinfect and thoroughly prepare the area for new clients, as they wish to offer clients total security to discover this unique project.
As for the season, Stanišić clarifies that they are delighted and that in August they recorded 7% more customers than in 2019, while at the level of the whole year, they are around 90% by compared to 2019.
“If May and June had been better, they would surely have better numbers than in 2019. As for the offseason, the announcements are excellent, and we continue to match the results of two years ago. We currently have a lot of requests for the team. build business programs, and now we will see if the epidemiological situation is reflected during the offseason, ”adds Stanišić.
When we talk about continental tourism, the season has only just begun because if summer is the high season at sea, on the continent, the high season is the pre-season and the post-season.
“Over the past two years, we have significantly increased the content of the entire complex. In addition to the well-being already mentioned, we have built a bowling alley, multifunctional sports grounds, fitted out a cafe and restaurant, social areas, beauty salons, massage offers and charging stations for electric vehicles in plus the wellness center already mentioned. We also offer electric scooters and electric bikes; we have entertainment all year round, not just in high season like before… so that guests really have a wide range of things to do at our resort. In addition, we have excellent cooperation with other partners for additional content in the destination, ”concludes Staničić.
The new content of Plitvice Holiday Resort is just a continuation of the investment in improving the quality of the entire resort. The first transformation of a classic camp began in 2014-2015 with mobile homes and an aquatic complex. In 2018, a lakeside area with lakeside houses and canopies was created, and in 2019 they were classified as a four-star camp and tourist resort.
Thus, the entire complex has diversified accommodation for all: tents, mobile homes, bungalows, glamping, classic hotel rooms, awning accommodation, and 5 categories of campsites or types of pitches by quality, standard, comfort, premium, exclusive, and VIP exclusivity.
