Mario Vuskovic “to complete” Celtic transfer but Olivier Ntcham to AEK takes a dramatic turn
Mario Vuskovic is set to complete his transfer to Celtic, according to a report.
Hadjuk defender Split could arrive at Parkhead as early as this week in a deal worth potentially € 6million.
Sportske reports that Celtic will pay € 5million up front for the center-back as well as possible performance and appearance bonuses in the future.
New boss Ange Postecoglou has spoken of an urgent need to strengthen his squad with less than four weeks until a Champions League qualifying showdown with Midtjylland.
And he could be close to sealing his first signing in the form of the 19-year-old Vuskovic plug.
Croatia’s report says Celtic insisted on a quick resolution to bring the teenager to Glasgow with Postecoglou in need of defensive reinforcements.
Kristoffer Ajer has announced his intention to leave this summer, Shane Duffy’s loan has ended and Christopher Jullien remains out with long-term injury.
Meanwhile, Olivier Ntcham’s transfer to AEK seems to be stopping.
Reports from Greece indicate that AEK are considering other options after believing they could allow the French midfielder to receive a free transfer.
