If you don’t want a vaccine or a test, you can’t come to work

September 25, 2021 – Croatian Minister of Health Vili Beros has sent a clear message to those who do not want to be vaccinated against the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, and to those who do not want to test it frequently for s ‘make sure they’re negative.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Vili Beros said that security is priceless and that while costs can always be discussed, safety and security will always come before anything else.
The process around covid certification aims to increase security, and such security is priceless. We can talk about costs, but we will focus above all on safety. We plan to do tests twice a week. We don’t know what to do with those people who choose to decline a test and also refuse the vaccination. In order not to discriminate against anyone, we have introduced the possibility of testing.
It will be free at first, but it can’t be like this forever. If someone does not want to be tested for the virus then they will have to enter it in their working hours records and will not be able to get to work and will create a problem for the system and for themselves. I can’t talk about other actions at the moment, but everything will be done according to the law, ” said Vili Beros.
“No responsible person should resort to counterfeiting. As far as I know, there has been no counterfeiting within the Croatian health system,” added the Minister of Health.
Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic stressed that covid certificates cannot be falsified due to their specificities. Vili Beros reiterated that although he wanted to avoid discrimination, he was unsure how long the testing procedure would be free for healthcare workers who do not want to be vaccinated against the virus.
“The funds for this have been secured, but I cannot say what the amount is. We know that there is sick leave control, you must have a justification to be on sick leave if you are too ill. and do not want to be tested is not yet included in the classification of these diseases, ” he warned.
