High school students from Petrinja and Sisak go on summer vacation in Hungary

ZAGREB, July 18, 2022 – The first group of 42 students from Petrinja Secondary School and Sisak School of Economics, and three traveling companions left on Monday for a summer camp in Hungary.
Secondary students will spend eight days during their summer vacation in Hungary.
This is the result of good cooperation between Sisak-Moslavina County and the Hungarian government, which allowed around 100 secondary school students to participate in a summer camp in two groups, from July 18 to 25. and from July 25 to 31.
Students will be accommodated in a hotel with swimming pool, near Lake Velence, and Hungarian hosts will offer them a variety of cultural and entertainment activities. The program includes a trip to Pécs, where they will visit the Croatian house and do some sightseeing, a trip to Tihany, where they will visit the Benedictine monastery and the visitor center, and a trip to Székesfehérvár, where they will visit Bory Castle, St. Stephen’s Museum and other sites.
The second group of students, due to visit Hungary from July 25 to 31, includes students from Sisak Technical School, Sisak Gymnasium, Sisak Industrial and Handicraft School, Viktorovac Secondary School, Sisak Vocational School, Ivan Trnski Secondary School in Hrvatska Kostajnica and Topusko. High school.
Sisak-Moslavina county prefect Ivan Celjak was pleased that secondary school students have the opportunity to have a free summer vacation, just like primary school students who are currently on vacation in Split.
