Frank Lampard claims Tyrone Mings of Aston Villa after posting in England

Frank Lampard praised the performance of Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings for England yesterday on Match of the Day Live, which was broadcast on the BBC.
Mings entered the England squad and the Villa defender helped his country score a white goal in a 1-0 win over Croatia.
England’s defense didn’t come under much pressure, but when called into question Mings had all the answers.
And Lampard believes Villa’s center-back is a true âpremiumâ player because of his attributes.

The former Chelsea manager said: âI think it’s a good balance when you have a player of his attributes.
âHe’s a southpaw and he’s strong. It can do a lot of things that you are looking for a lot. They are a bounty, they stand up for the box and do the job they need to do.
Mings’ selection was actually called into question ahead of the game, with Ben White left on the bench.
Mings had looked rather fragile in England’s warm-up matches ahead of the competition.
However, he stepped up to the big occasion and formed a very strong partnership with John Stones.
Mings’ place in the England squad now looks secure ahead of his second game of the tournament, which takes place against Scotland on Friday night.
