Croatian Adris triples net profit from a year in the first half

ZAGREB (Croatia), July 27 (SeeNews) – Croatian diversified holding company Adris Group [ZSE:ADRS, ADRS2] said on Wednesday that its consolidated net profit tripled year-on-year in the first half of 2022, reaching 157 million kunas ($21.20 million/20.9 million euros).
EBITDA totaled 461 million kuna in the six months to June, up 33% on the year, the group said in a filing on the Zagreb stock exchange.
The group increased its total revenue by 16% year-on-year to 2.9 billion kuna in the first half of 2022, while revenue increased by 20% to 2.69 billion kuna.
The tourism division of Adris doubled its turnover to 631 million kuna during the period under review. Revenue was also up 5% from 2019 before the pandemic.
Its insurance branch, the first insurer in the country Croatia Osiguranje [ZSE:CROS]reported gross written premiums of 2.181 billion kuna, up 9.3% year-on-year.
The group’s health food manufacturing division, Cromaris, increased its turnover by 32% to 360 million kuna.
Preferred shares of Adris, which are part of the two main stock indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, traded on Wednesday at 397 kuna intraday, up 1.02%. Its ordinary shares last traded on Tuesday, when they closed at 430 kuna.
