Croatia increasingly popular on the French travel market

ZAGREB, March 25 (Hina) – Croatia is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination in France, as confirmed by the recent international tourism fair Salon Mondial du Tourisme in Paris and announcements of new air links between the two countries, the Croatian Office announced on Wednesday. Tourism (HTZ).
At the World Tourism Fair, which was held from March 17 to 20, Croatia was represented by the HTZ office in Paris as well as the tourist offices of the city of Zagreb, the county of Split-Dalmatia, the county of Šibenik -Knin and Zadar county.
HTZ said the Croatian stand was among the busiest.
“Although there is general uncertainty about the situation in Ukraine, the French are showing great interest in traveling in the coming months and are mainly looking for closer, safer and more attractive destinations, this is how they see Croatia”, director of the HTZ Paris office Danijela Mihalic Đurica noted.
Among the new air connections from France for this season are those operated by Transavia (from Nantes and Montpellier to Split), Volotea (from Lille to Split) and Ryanair (from Paris and Bordeaux to Zadar).
