Perisic has less than six months left on his contract at the San Siro and is yet to be sold for an extension, with Thomas Tuchel considering a bid to ease Chelsea’s lack of depth on the left flank.

Inter Milan and Croatia star Ivan Perisic has emerged as a potential target for Chelsea.
The Blues are looking for a player who can operate at left-back in tandem with Marcos Alonso following Ben Chilwell’s injury.
Perisic has played there for Inter this season and can provide cover on the right as well, which pleases boss Thomas Tuchel.
The 32-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season and Inter will consider viable offers rather than risk losing him for free this summer.
Tottenham and Arsenal have also expressed interest, but a move to Stamford Bridge would appeal to the player ahead of London rivals Chelsea.

Perisic is still thought to be open to signing a new contract with the Nerazzuri, who he signed for in 2015, but only if the club have a project to match his ambitions.
Inter’s perilous financial situation forced them to sell Romelu Lukaku over the summer, and Perisic is keen to assess whether the club are still serious about vying for the top honours.
President Steven Zhang admitted to reporters in Italy last week that finding a replacement for Perisic was a priority, perhaps out of fear of losing him in the coming months.
Chelsea are unlikely to host Chilwell this season, making their need for extra cover at left-back necessary.
The Blues were linked with Lucas Digne but were unable to agree a deal with Everton as they only wanted to loan the Frenchman, losing out to Aston Villa’s £25million offer.
Tuchel responded to Chelsea’s lack of depth by recalling Brazilian left-back Kenedy from Flamengo on loan.
Kenedy struggled to work his way into the first-team at Stamford Bridge under various managers but Tuchel is keen to give him a chance, although he doesn’t rule out the prospect of a new arrival.
“Kenedy is back and I’m very happy about it so it’s huge,” said Tuchel. “A huge opportunity for him to make his mark at this club and this team.
“We will try from today to push him and support him as best we can.
“We cannot say that Kenedy is the solution. He may be the solution, but the situation has not changed.”
