Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka reacts to what Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish did in England training
Bukayo Saka admits he was amazed by Aston Villa star Jack Grealish’s goal during training in England, according to his comments to the newspaper room.
Grealish scored with a belt volley in the Three Lions camp, which quickly went viral on Twitter.
The Villa captain lifted the ball, spun around and then fired a shot past Sam Johnstone and into the top corner.
Not only did this leave Aston Villa fans purring with joy, but it also impressed Saka who was watching.
“Jack is sick, man. This volley he made was crazy, ”said the young Arsenal.
“The volley was the one I was trying to figure out how to score it.
“He did it perfectly, a side winder straight into the top bins and he called it before, which made him even crazier!”
Grealish to present tonight?
Despite the impressive goal in training, Gareth Southgate has yet to use Grealish at the European Championships.
The Villa man was controversially left on the bench for England’s opener against Croatia and was not even used as a substitute.
It now remains to be seen whether the 25-year-old will play against Scotland tonight.
England could need Grealish’s creativity against a Scottish defense that looks like it needs to sit down deep, as they look to build on their winning start in the tournament.
